Hey! Pikmin is cute af, and fun until like world six

Hey there, it's Menow. I beat Hey! Pikmin on my beloved New 3DS XL last week, and I have mixed feelings. (Slight spoilers ahead if you're a person who likes to play a game without ever having seen/heard anything about it.) Feeling 1: It's cute af.  The cuteness is harming me. Look at that image. The colors, the little chicken enemy dude, all the Pikmin bouncing around, carrying stuff, having a grand time with our pal Olimar. It's cute af. Feeling 2: The puzzles are genuinely fun for most of the game. The levels are just challenging enough where I don't feel like a complete life failure because I can't win, but I also have to use my brain a little bit and sometimes have to try twice or more to succeed.  Feeling 3: The collectibles are 100%. Reading Olimar's "captain's log" type entries fill out the game and make me love Olimar even more. But like seriously look at this. Gurl, you know I love treasure. And Hey! Pik...

I tried the VOEZ Demo on Switch and iOS

Hey there, it's Menow. I moderately like rhythm games, I fanatically like Nintendo Switch, and I consistently like anime garbage. Of course I downloaded this demo. I wasn't sure how to hold the slightly-too-heavy Switch in my left hand comfortably while poising to tap, swipe, and press with my right. I figured there had to be a better way to do it, so I watched some videos of people playing the game and it looks like most players worth anything play two-handed, like this champion: After a mediocre Switch experience, I downloaded the iOS version on my iPhone 7 Plus out of ...

I have played Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for 137 hours and counting

Hey there, it's Menow. As always, no spoilers. I somehow have yet to complete the story? I have acquired all story-obtainable blades, and am praying to RNGesus for the last five I am missing. The completion compulsion is strong here, which I think will lead me to play this game longer than I have played any game, including my game of all games, Persona 5 . Tora will do it. Tora will show them.
